PROFILE

 

The company Confeções Bugalhós, Lda., is dedicated to the production of  clothing for men, women and children. Founded in February 1986, located  in Guimarães, geographically placed in the Vale do Ave, internationally  recognized as an area of great tradition in the textile and clothing  industry. There is a large capacity which allowed us to establish strong  partnerships throughout the growth of the company.

The external demand assures the restructuring of our company in terms of  production and technological innovation. This implies the necessity to  obtain a bigger physical space and the acquisition of modern production  equipment to guarantee the quantity and quality at competitive prices. There is a quick growth of the company in foreign markets mainly from  1993, which represents a great relevance in European Community  countries, namely in Spain, Belgium and Finland.

In 2009 the Company is distinguished by the Ministry of Economy and Innovation of Portugal as PME leader. In 2010 a PME Excellence is assigned which is the highest status within the Fincresce program based on performance companies. In 2011 the company increased its physical space and introduces a new  electronic cutting device, it also makes a strong investment in the  Design department to be able to propose new styles, prints to its  customers based on the latest fashion trends. A detailed analysis of our customers allows us to verify a high rate of  loyalty, which makes us very proud and motivated for the future.
